Plans have been started in several panchayats to make it a poultry waste free panchayat. The project is being implemented in collaboration with Freshcut, a company that manufactures pet food items from poultry waste. Poultry outlets in the panchayat limits will keep the waste in a separate freezer as part of the scheme. This freshcut will be delivered to the processing center in a specially equipped vehicle without any hassle to the public. Poultry waste is collected at the rate of Rs. 7 per kg.
