Poultry shops in the state are no longer recognizable, but are moving to a high-tech level of cleanliness. The new system includes rendering plant for waste treatment. The Pollution Control Board had issued guidelines for the collection, transportation and disposal of waste. Accordingly, only rendering plant owners can collect the waste. According to the guidelines, chicken shops need to present a memorandum of understanding with the rendering plant to get the license.
